This is great info. I’m looking to get away from the chemicals in carpet. The shine is great as well!

When I first started hearing about concrete floors in houses I thought how tacky. But sense I have seen a lot of nice concrete floors. The ones pictured here are very nice.

They failed to mention acoustics. I have installed many concrete floors here in Arizona. Most complaints come from a comfort and noise level. Very hard on the feet. Either very warm in summer or cold during winter months.
Most clients say they never considered acoustics and complain about how loud it is and how much echo there is. TV and stereo listening is affected. If you love home theater beware. if you have children playing in your house be prepared for excessive noise levels I recommend keeping extra aspirin on hand…lol

I have never been a fan of concrete floors, even though this looks beautiful. Concrete floors remind me of OldNavy, where they are too cheap to put a real floor in top of the slab provided at a shapping mall. However, this one is not like that at all. I’ll do some re-evaluating, but I still don’t think I’ll ever like OldNavy!
