Procedure to Remove Glue from Laminate Flooring-
Step 1: Mix 1/4 cup vinegar to a 1-quart mist bottle with water. Spray the mixed solution straight on the sticky glue or adhesive until it is dripping wet. Allow it to sit for 30 to 40 seconds, subsequently clean the area using a dampened cloth.
Step 2: Ventilate the area for some time. If the stain still persists on the floor, and the vinegar solution failed to remove the glue apply rubbing alcohol to the clean cloth. Scrub the area briskly with the dipped solution cloth until the glue is removed. If still continues, add extra alcohol on the folded cloth and continue until the glue is cleaned.
Step 3: Still persisting? Apply acetone or nail polish thinner to the glue, dabbing it with a clean folded cloth until the glue is well saturated, this is that should be done, if the glue is failed to remove by using vinegar or alcohol.
Step 4: Once the glue is dripped to wet, scrape off the glued area using a plastic glue scraper without damaging laminate. If it resists yet again, apply added acetone and allow it to sit on the glue for 20 seconds. Continue scraping until the glue is gone. At length, scrub the area with the acetone-dampened cloth.
Step 5: Once glue-free, dry the area with a clean cloth.
