Choosing a commercial carpet isn’t hard to do when working with a company that focuses on your complete list of requirements. However, you may be interested in the installation process, and we want to dive into that topic a bit more in today’s post.

Here’s what happens when you choose carpet tile

Once you’ve considered your preferences and requirements for flooring and chosen the perfect tile, we will measure for the perfect fit. And our professional installation gives you the peace of mind you need for your commercial space.

The first step is to remove your old flooring, unless you have opted to have the tiles installed over a smooth, flat existing floor covering such as vinyl, hardwood, or tile. Next, all gaps, cracks, or imperfections will be filled, whether in subflooring or existing flooring, so that the tiles can be perfectly attached.

After old flooring removal and gap-filling, the floors will be meticulously cleaned, leading to the subfloor sealant stage. If your subfloor is naturally porous, specific sealers will be used to ensure moisture will not be a problem.

The actual installation begins from the center of the room, working out towards the edges. This ensures that all four sides of the room will have matching boundaries, alleviating the possibility of a skewed look if tiles need to be cut on one side.

If you have further questions about the installation of these materials, be sure to contact us. We will be happy to provide all the answers.
