A carpet to tile transition strip joins low pile carpet and ceramic tile. A spiked aluminum strip is tucked under the edge of the carpet, where it won’t be seen. This strip of spikes is attached to an aluminum track, and the adjoining ceramic tile butts up against this track. To complete the transition, a vinyl transition strip is pushed into the track so that the edges of both types of flooring are covered.4-in-1 transition strip
