Carpet to tile transition strip
A carpet to tile transition strip joins low pile carpet and ceramic tile. A spiked aluminum strip is tucked under the edge of the carpet, where it won’t be seen. This strip of spikes is attached to an aluminum track, and the adjoining ceramic tile butts up against this track. To complete the transition, a vinyl transition strip is pushed into the track so that the edges of both types of flooring are covered.4-in-1 transition strip
A 4-in-1 transition strip can be used for applications like end molding and transitioning between two floors. Interchangeable parts make it possible to use the strip for different types of floors. You choose the parts you need. A metal channel is included for mounting the system. A T-molding fits into the channel, and then a carpet strip is used in conjunction with the T-molding when installing carpeting and tile.Reducer strips and more
Reducer strips come in many different shapes and styles. They span the flooring transition and mesh with the edges of both installations. An aluminum carpet edge gripper attaches to the carpet edge with sharp metal teeth. It provides a transition to the tile that lies lower than the carpet. A Z-bar, which works best if you lay the carpet before the tile floor, fits securely under the tile.Floor installation experts at Express Flooring
